안녕하세요!

몇 년 전에 영주권을 위해 셀핍을 칠 때 만들어뒀던 템플릿을 조금 다듬어서 올렸더니 생각보다 정말 많이 블로그로 찾아와주셔서 👼
정말 셀핍을 공부하려는 사람은 많은데 자료가 많이 부족하다는 걸 깨닫게 되네요


누구든 약간의 노력만 있으면 스스로 템플릿을 만들 수 있는 방법이 생각나서 셀핍을 준비하시는 분들께 도움이 될 것 같아

포스팅을 쓰게 되었어요




바로 챗GPT를 이용하는 겁니다!

 

 

저는 챗GPT를 실생활에서도, 일을 할 때도 자주 도움을 받고 있어요. 예를 들면 어떤 상황에서 영어로 어떻게 말하는게 좋을 지, 이메일을 어떻게 쓰면 더 공손한지, 구글 리뷰를 대신 써달라거나, 일에 관련된 이론을 물어보는 등 진짜 많은 걸 쉽게 해결해주더라구요.


그러다 든 생각이 셀핍 공부를 할 때 이걸 이용하면 되겠다는 생각이 들었어요. 모두에게 적용되는 건 아니지만 엄청 높은 점수가 필요한 상황이 아니라면 템플릿을 준비해서 외워가는 것이 시험장에서 당황하지 않는 방법이라고 생각해요. 그래서 이전 글들에서도 템플릿 몇 가지를 올려뒀었는데요,


지금부터 챗GPT로 여러가지 템플릿을 만드는 방법을 보여드릴게요. 

주제만 던져주면 챗GPT가 템플릿들을 입맛에 맞게, 무궁무진하게 만들어줍니다

 

 

1. 먼저 로그인을 합니다.

 

 

2. 원하는 주제나 샘플 문제들을 불러옵니다. 저는 셀핍 공식 홈페이지에 있는 라이팅 샘플 문제를 가져왔어요.

 

 

방문했던 레스토랑의 음식과 서비스가 별로였던 경험에 대해 레스토랑의 매니저에게 이메일을 쓰는 문제인데요,

챗GPT한테 템플릿을 요청해봅시다 

 

 

 

3. 문제를 복붙해서 템플릿을 만들어달라고 합니다

 

Please provide email template to the restaurant's manager in about 150-200 words. Email should do the following things:  State what problems you had with the food you ordered. Complain about the service. Describe how you want the restaurant to resolve the problem to your satisfaction. You recently made reservations for dinner at a very famous and expensive restaurant in town. However, the meal and the service were terrible. The restaurant manager was not available to solve the problem, so you left without a resolution.

 

 

 

4. 그럼 이렇게 템플릿 하나를 2초만에 만들어줍니다 

 

 

자세히 읽어보면 꽤나 짜임새있는 구성으로 템플릿을 만들어줍니다.

기억해두면 다양하게 쓰일 수 있는 만능문장들도 보입니다(핑크색).  

시험장에서 이대로만 써도 기본 점수 이상을 받을 수 있을 것 같긴 한데, 디테일이 부족해 보입니다.

그냥 레스토랑만 던져줬기 때문에 좀 더 디테일한 부분을 추가하면 좋겠죠?

이제 좀 더 자세한 상황을 던져줘봅시다.

이탈리안 레스토랑이었고, 파스타에서 머리카락이 나왔는데 사과도 못받았고 새로운 파스타를 받는 데 30분이 넘게 걸렸다는 상황을 알려줬어요.

 

2초만에 또 다른 템플릿이 나옵니다.

비슷하지만 좀 더 디테일한 상황이 추가되어서 더 좋은 템플릿이 나왔어요. 이 외에도 다양한 상황을 던져주거나, 좀 더 짧게 써달라거나, 좀 더 길게 써달라는 등 말하는 대로 다 해줍니다!!

 

 

한 가지 아쉬운 점은 일부 단어들이 실제로 사용되는 자연스러운 단어들이 아니라는 점인데 단점보단 장점이 훨씬 많은 것 같아요. 셀핍공부는 여러가지 상황에 대한 글쓰기나 말하기를 많이 연습할 수록 도움이 되기 때문에 

챗GPT로 빠르게 여러 템플릿들을 정리해볼 수 있어서 정말 유용한 툴인것 같습니다.
